Dear all women,
To be a woman is a beautiful, beautiful thing. And most importantly, it is something to be proud of.
I am a 40 year old woman and I am a woman in the media.
I am proud of the woman I am. I am proud of all that I have done thus far to get to where I am. I am proud of the mindset I have instilled. I was raised by a strong mother who raised even stronger daughters. Daughters who are fiercely independent, who hold great integrity, feel unstoppable with all their efforts and hold ambitious personalities.
While I know who I am and what I want, it saddens me to know this is not the case for all females. Being a woman means we not only can do just as much and more than men, but we can astonish the world with our efforts.
So women, I ask you all to love your messy hair, love those dark circles you just can’t seem to get rid of, love your skin, love your smile, love your curves – love your natural self
And far more important than looks, love your intuition, love your wisdom, love your morals – love yourself. Women, accept who you are. And remember it’s OK if you are different. We are all different. I am different, and love meeting people who are different from me. Be confident in your uniqueness and express yourself.
Women, value who you are. You have power. The power to change the world and even if you don’t know it yet, you are great and deserving for any and all dreams to come true. Make it happen. You are an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Feel the empowerment and spread the empowerment. Women, you can and will change the world – you are worthy.
To be a woman is a beautiful, beautiful thing. And most importantly, it is something to be proud of.
